Franklin Mint General George Custer's Model 1861 .36 Caliber Revolver
SOLD $374.75 Sold: Dec 23, 2023 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
eBay GENERAL CUSTER’S REVOLVER This is the last of two General Custer Revolvers that were passed onto to me from my father. It is a NON-FIRING Replica Pistol with a Display Frame. It is fully engraved, nickel-plated non-firing replica revolver made just like the Colt Model 1861 .36 cap-and-ball Navy Revolver that General George A Custer was presented with on his promotion to Major General. Serial number on bottom of frame, trigger guard, and butt is 13511 P. Replica grips with eagle and shield design on left. Cocked, the cylinder turns and can be removed, and the ejector operates. This is a wonderful replica of George A Custer’s Colt Model 1861 revolver. The gun does not fire, but is real in every other way including revolving chamber and dry firing, and the hammer will cock. It comes with a beautiful wooden display plaque. This is a gorgeous piece that any military collector, gun collector, or John Wayne fan would love. This gun truly captures the look and spirit of the original. A very high-quality replica that you will be proud to display and is shown with an orange plug which EBAY requests that we add. The frame measures 17- 5/8" by 11-1/2" by 1-3/8” deep. It comes from a smoke free home. The brochure is included with the Revolver and will ship Priority Mail with Insurance. The various pictures that I have taken should give you a very good idea of the excellent condition. Now at 82 yrs, my wife and I are downsizing and need to reduce our collections. I will be happy to answer any questions promptly. Thank you. LAWS THAT EXIST, PROHIBIT ME FROM SHIPPING INTERNATIONALLY (Condition: Pre-Owned)
